WELDING INSPECTION & QUALIFICATION

View of the welding procedure qualification and welder test for pipe (HL-045 or 6G position). Welders performing the 6G certification test must weld in all positions including horizontal and vertical.

DOES YOUR COMPANY NEED PROCEDURES
IN PLACE FOR YOUR NEXT PROJECT ?

We offer a comprehensive and reliable service, supporting you throughout the entire process of developing your Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), including Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) and Welder Qualification Certificates, ensuring full compliance with industry standards.

UNDERSTANDING WELD PROCEDURE SPECIFICATION (WPS)
AND PROCEDURE QUALIFICATION RECORD (PQR)

The WPS is derived from a Procedure Qualification Record (PQR), which documents welding parameters during a test weld. Once the test piece meets compliance standards, the WPS is finalized, and the PQR serves as proof of the weld’s integrity.

A Weld Procedure Specification (WPS) is a documented set of instructions that guides welding personnel in producing defect-free welds. Since welding is inherently imperfect, all standards require both a WPS and qualified welders before work begins.
